Definately a hopeless geek / gadget addict!

I’m sitting at work right now waiting for my iPhone to arrive…. last time I had a gadget delivered I ambushed the postman in the lift (elevator) and had it signed over before the doors opened!

You know how some smokers don’t want to figure out how much money they have spent? I DO NOT want to know how much I have spent on Next Day Shipping in my life because I didn’t want to wait.

I only work from home twice a week so for the other three days that I’m at the office I would have to add:

11. You call home every ten minutes to make sure someone is there to sign for the package.

Sadly, the whole rush in gadget buying is the hunting down, ordering, waiting, checking. Once the gadget arrives, the excitement level falls and it’s time to start hunting the next one

Jaysus. Did you guys go through this with your wife’s pregnancy?!

The last geek package I expected was a LifeDrive off ebay. Something I’d wanted for the longest time. I wasn’t in when it arrived, so had to wait til the next day. I did not lose any sleep.

I can see I’m no Geek First Class.

I’d just add “work from home on delivery day” to that list…

That didn’t make sense, now did it? I meant I know them BY their first names. I’m waiting, too, but for a Scribbler 4000. I’m a nervous wreck.
