BotanicallstwitterIf plants were voting for President this year, I think the folks at Botinicalls would win by a landslide. At their site, they show a fun little project that enables your plants to automatically Twitter you when they need more water! Once you get everything all set up, you won’t need a PC connected to the kit but it will need some type of cellular connection in order to tweet. Sounds like a good project for folks that have a closet-full of mobile phones just sitting around. Like this guy. I’d turn this into a fun weekend project for my son and I, but I tend to have Cactus plants, which wouldn’t be very social Twitter participants. They’re also the only plants I can keep alive for some reason.(via MAKE)
