How will this work with that Redfly thing you lot have been pushing?

For those phones that aren’t listed above, you can always go on XDA-Developers or PPCGeeks for custom ROM action. We’ve been doing 6.1 there for a couple months now.

I was kind of annoyed that Verizon, in particular my XV6800, isn’t on the list, especially since it’s exactly the same device as the Mogul and PPC6800, but then I realized that there are already ROM kitchens available to put WM6.1 on my XV6800 (and its brethren), and with the official release they’ll just get better. So, hooray!

And this is EXACTLY why I am buying an Android phone when they come out…this upgrade prob’ won’t be available for my Cingular 8525.

Yeah yeah…I know it doesn’t HAVE to be upgraded…but who wants to be left in the dust with a device when it’s only for policitical/capitalistic reasons and not technical ones?

Generally vendors of linux-based products aren’t in to the whole “planned obsolescence” thang.

I know that people hate IE6 but if PIE can render like IE6 then it will be a 1000% improvement on the current version. Let’s just hope it’s fast.

That Xperia X1 from Sony Ericsson is looking better and better.

I’m not a huge Apple fan but the browser on the iPhone/iPod Touch has really set the standard in terms of mobile browsing and now that I know what’s possible I won’t rest until I can get that sort of experience elsewhere. I’m sure MS have a way to go but I hope they get there soon.
