Podcast buddy and CBS blogger Matt Miller is attending the Mobius event in Seattle right now where all the attendees got brand new HTC Advantages!  The Advantage is my favorite mobile device and this new model 7510 looks to improve on an already great device and Matt has shared his unboxing experience with us.  Take a look at this new device and you’ll see why I can’t wait to get my hands on one of these beauts.

  • Oh, I really want one of these now! Looking at the photos I can’t believe I missed until now that the keyboard now has a dedicated number row! Ooohhh. Unfortunately this may not be released in the US as it uses the Qualcomm chipset that can’t be sold here.

  • Wonder if the keyboard works with a MK1 Advantage.

  • You see what you’ve done, Kendrick? Now MICROSOFT taunts and torments me with the Advantage!!

You’ll have to give them an MVF sticker — Most Valuable Fiend!

  • Nice way to slip in that CBS Blogger label. I am sensing some inside humor.

  • Gavin, from what I understand I don’t think the keyboard will work due to key mapping errors.

Mike, I understand that HTC gave those beauties out, not MS.

Frank, all of my humor is inside. Some so deep no one gets it.

  • James, re your comment: “Unfortunately this may not be released in the US as it uses the Qualcomm chipset that can’t be sold here.” I’m sure you know what you’re talking about, but per the Mobile Gadgeteer’s post, it appears the unit would be sold in the U.S., and will work on the U.S. AT&T network. Appreciate your insight, particularly since I miss my x7500, which my wife expropriated, so could have my arm twisted to get a x7510.

  • I think I got it. The Moblie Gadgeteer’s post says: “These may not come to the U.S. due to Qualcomm import issues, but you will be able to pick them up from U.S. importers in the next few months.” So you can still buy and use it in the U.S., it won’t be marketed by AT&T or the like.
