One of the most used programs on my computers is MindManager, the best mind mapping software on the planet.  MindManager is not only a sterling mapping program but its support for inking on the Tablet PC is well known.  JCVGANTT is another program I have used a lot as it integrates MS Project compatible project management with MindManager, and also supports inking very well.  I am excited to report that Mindjet has purchased JCVGANTT and will be bringing this great project management tool into the MindManager family.  For a video of both MindManager and JCVGANTT in action with ink take a look at the Tablet PC demo video I did a while back which shows what the two programs can do together.  The press release about the acquisition can be found after the jump.

  • Also long term user and trainer of both these brilliant applications. It is going to interesting to see how the MindManager Add In market develops. Perhaps there are others who aspire to be bought by Mindjet?

  • I’ve never tried to manage a project with a mind-mapping tool. Perhaps, I should. What I think is convenient is having a workspace, that can be integrated with email and automatically generete Gantts. I’ve been looking for such a tool for a long time, here’s what I’ve recently found and am concidering now – http://www.wrike.com/. I’d be interested in hearing your opinion.
