This is interesting - I had a Cantonese friend call up Fujitsu HK and the salesman confirmed there will be a P1620 with 3G - after 6 months of nothingness, I wrote to Fujitsu Australia and here is the reply:

"For the Asia Pacific region, the P1620 with 3G was not released to the
market

However there is a replacement due in the next 2-3 months, and this will
have built in 3.5G with some enhanced model features such as webcamera etc

The new model name has not been confirmed yet, but most likely will be
called a P1630."

I hope this time the Aussie salesman is not pulling my leg again. The P1620 really only needs a webcam + 3.5G and its sweet. Plus if really necessary - a 64GB/128GB SSD.

I don't understand why Apple did not include this in the MacBook Air. I think the MacBook Air should have been completely wireless, including the following wireless technologies:
- WiFi
- Wireless USB (including Wireless USB VGA/DVI monitor connnector)
- Wireless power/battery charging
- 3G wireless data

Now that is a product that I would buy. A completely wireless notebook. Never deal with another cable again!

Let's see a P1640
(not necessarily in priority order)
1. Active Digitizer
2. thinner lighter..???
3. Less Cost
4. Faster Processor
5. 128GB SSD Option
5a. 4GB RAM
6. Broadband Verizon Option
7. Wireless N
8. No Modem Necessary... Take the thing out already or make it an option....
9. Wireless USB
