Does your GPS Tweet?

Although the Twitter "Fail Whale" image has been seen more often than we want as the service strains under heavy loads, there’s still some fun and practical uses for this service. Don’t believe me? Check out how the Dash Express GPS unit with two-way connectivity has hooked into Twitter. All Dave Zatz had to do was tap a few times on his Dash Express to broadcast his location at the local Krispy Kreme. While he didn’t offer to buy us any doughnuts, I’m impressed that his Tweet automatically included a location link for Google Maps. Makes you wonder what kind of functions a Twitter app is going to have with the A-GPS capable iPhone 3G, no? Ah… in the end, we’ll all be plugged into "The Matrix" me thinks… Dave you DO realize that your local Starbucks have just added you to the "Do Not Serve" list, right?

I use software called Twibble on my N95 which does the Geotagged twitters… I like to send cryptic statements with the answering being the name of the co-ords.
