I was on the fence with friend feed but I think you sold me on it. This was an awesome article and a very different way to look at social networking. I never really thought of it as a news source.

Dave, I completely understand your point of view. But I'm also sensing a growing trend towards content and aggregators. We used to just aggregate articles and posts, but now all types of expression are getting aggregated, making the experience much deeper and richer.

There's a little too much going on at FriendFeed more me - it's not enough to have blog comments, but now we have blog comments in a new location other than the source? And I already read all my friend's blogs so I don't need another notice of an update. I'm sticking with my personal blog and Twitter for now. I'll consider Discus when they figure out how to leave comments or mirror comments in my db.

It must be a Tom Cruise day for me. First this post, then some bits on him that people emailed me, speaking about Scientology, and now a funny NSFW skit on http://www.funnyordie.com/evanferrante/videos - I have to tell you, this guy does a dead on impression of him, you have to see it to believe it.

>>>I keep looking back quickly every now and again, but never catch you following me.

Like, you're such a naif, Tofel!

Don't you know Romulans have the Cloaking Device?

Is FriendFeed using OpenID yet? No? FAIL continues apace, then.
