Dave, I completely understand your point of view. But I’m also sensing a growing trend towards content and aggregators. We used to just aggregate articles and posts, but now all types of expression are getting aggregated, making the experience much deeper and richer.

There’s a little too much going on at FriendFeed more me – it’s not enough to have blog comments, but now we have blog comments in a new location other than the source? And I already read all my friend’s blogs so I don’t need another notice of an update. I’m sticking with my personal blog and Twitter for now. I’ll consider Discus when they figure out how to leave comments or mirror comments in my db.
