Time to update that ol’ Verizon Palm Treo 755p
Doesn’t everyone want an update that "improves the phone application, stability and device usability"? If you’re a Palm Treo 755p owner on Verizon, you’re in luck because Palm says that’s exactly what you’ll get. And I use the term "exactly" in a very generous way since the description doesn’t "exactly" say much. 
This upgrade is version 1.08 for those who are counting (even for those that aren’t) and the usual precautions when updating firmware apply: backup your data, keep your handset plugged in and allow a generous amount of time for the update. Palm also cautions users of IM and VersaMail: you’ll need to re-enter settings and passwords after the upgrade. But isn’t more stability and usability worth it? I’m actually hoping the next Palm OS allows for over-the-air updates that are incremental and not full flashes. Can you Palm folks get that in the design specs or is it too late?
