Ever since HP announced the VooDoo Envy notebook in Berlin recently many, myself included, have been itching to get one of these uber-notebooks in our hands.  HP was very smart to bring the VooDoo line back and it’s no surprise how excited many have become based on the Envy and the Omen desktop VooDoo they showed.  Now comes word that HP is going to merge the specialty VooDoo group with their existing consumer PC group to make the VooDoo easier to handle by both HP and consumers.  It’s not clear whether the VooDoo name will live on after the merger but let’s hope so.
