Working anywhere- a road warrior’s delight
I don’t do a lot of business travel anymore but in the past I have done my share of it and anything I could find to help me out made that a lot easier. One of the most mobile road warriors I know is Andy Abramson who runs an entire multi-national company out of a travel bag. I’m not exaggerating, one never knows where Andy is on a given day and that’s a true testament to the tools he uses. Andy is sharing those tools with like-minded folks and road warriors would do well to bookmark Andy’s Working Anywhere blog. Andy has posted some gems that handle everything from teleconferencing to a service that ships your luggage ahead on trips to save you the headache. while I like new services, this one seems to be in the very beginning of learning curve – tried it on my own locality (Greater Helsinki area, Finland) – got two MOST EXPENSIVE hotels, also ironically named as “Most Affordable Hotels” and “Best Rated Hotels”. Same time all HTML titles say site is about “The Best Boutique and Luxury Hotels”… wait-wait-wait… Global nomads working on tablets… I am not sure whether this service ever catch mass public
I want to also plug Andy’s contributions to Ken Radio, the oldest “podcast” around that I know of way before the term was coined. It’s one of the most informative shows around him and Ken Rutkowski always put on a great show. Be sure to check it out.
