Are you ready for some football? NFL.com to stream live games
Regular readers know how much I love my NFL football. So much so that I incorporate my mobile tech passion into it by using my Ultra Mobile PC for the fantasy football drafts. Looks like I’ll be using the UMPC to watch the Sunday night games and I won’t need my Slingbox.
The NFL announced that 17 games will be live-streamed on the web, one each week. You can watch the standard broadcast, choose from multiple camera angles or pick a "star-cam" that focuses on a single player. Gee, I hope they tell those guys so we don’t see ‘em "privately adjusting the gear on the lower half of their bodies" while on camera. There’s no details yet from the NFL on the system requirements needed for the live streaming, but I doubt you’ll be able to do this with a handset while on the road. Hmm… I just checked the schedule and my team isn’t on it. For the record: this marks my 18th consecutive season of misery as an Arizona Cardinals fan. Long story behind that one…

Its fun when you can start to guess who’s posting just by reading the posts title.
Great news!
But that’s not like the NFL to give us something like that for free, and I didn’t see pricing (free or otherwise even mentioned in the article). At best, maybe it’s free for the first year experiment because they think they’ll have issues with the service.
wow, Kevin likes football?!
i thought you were more of a theater, Opera, soccer, badminton, kind of guy.
Not the Eagles?
Heck, the STILLERS?!!
tell the story, help us understand…
