It may not be the best VoIP solution for Windows Mobile but it’s a good thing that Skype now supports version 6.1 of the mobile operating system.  I suspect you’ll still have to use your speaker phone on your Windows Mobile device as I’ve never been able to do Skype over a headset but here’s hoping.

  • I’m confused, never able to do it over a headset?
I’ve never had that problem is this WM Standard or WM Pro you’re referring to?

I have a 8525 & i’ve had no problems running skype on bt or on the wired headset.

  • That may be the particular device I was trying it on. It would only work through the speaker phone.

  • I also have never had a problem with skype an BT headsets. I’m been using them on WM 2003SE for years.

Also I’m curious what do you think IS the best Voip solution for WM?
