It’s still overpriced. I suspect we’ll be hearing about the Redfly being EOLed before too long.

The thing that bothers me about the Redfly is that fact that it pretty much ties you to Windows Mobile devices. Unless Celio releases connection software that would make it compatible with Blackberry and/or Symbian devices, the Redfly would become an expensive brick if I were to switch to a non-WM phone. At least the Foleo could have been usable even without a Treo!

Eh…drop it another $100 and I’ll think about it. Drop it $200 and I’ll definately get one. I just fail to see the point. If I needed something like that, I’d just get a used Q1 off ebay and have a full Windows computer.

As it is, the product is good, but if Celio could make the screen “reversible” (like the HTC Jasjar) and the image rotatable, this would be a fantastic device; Microsoft Reader for ebooks, display for GPS navigation, etc.
