1. It is always moving (unless tied up at a dock or pier)

2. I am always running an electrical deficit unless I run the engine to charge

I’d love to see a scaled up version of this – put it up in the forepeak (you get the most motion at the bow) and use #1 to help out with #2 (no illusions that it would keep me fully charged, but couldn’t hurt to add to the solar & wind options)

hmm, nice way to power that gps while out and about to.

have something like this built in and it will not run out of juice any time soon.

i would also guess that the military would be all over a system like to power radios and other small devices.
