HTC Dream is looking really nice

As the rumored release date of September 17th gets closer we are seeing more information about and photos of the Google Android-powered HTC Dream handset leak out.  These new photos uncovered by engadget have me getting really excited about the Dream as it looks simple yet functional.  It’s also exciting because Android is a totally new platform and that’s always fun to jump into.

  • hmm, i would not mind if HTC unbranded that phone and made it available in europe :)

    that is, if the hardware is as interesting as the firmware and design.

    btw, it looks like tmobile is grearing up to drop the sidekick/hiptop, given that design there.

    funny that, given that the man that started danger also started android and still leads the project for google…

  • I agree. Whats happened to HTC’s standered glossy black. I can’t say that I find the white and grey theme appealing.

  • It’s not the most attractive hardware, that’s for sure. The jury is still out on Android, however.

  • Go to http://www.the01phone.com to see the real T-Mobile G-1/ Dream phone. It will blow away every other phone that has ever been made!!! 17 days and counting… ;-)
