Well, I’m sure my wife would love it if I sold off my old laptops et al, but… when I dig out my old Librettos, or C1VN, or what have you, and get good use out of them (or give one of my MobilePros to my kids — they’re tough machines!) it makes storing the darned things all the more worthwhile.

I love my P1620 and I would never dream of putting it up for adoption! I take it with me everywhere. I wouldn’t want for it to miss me.

My P1610 is also going up for sale. Not in conflict with you here James as I am in the UK and am looking for a UK buyer.

I have a dock for mine and it came as standard with the extended battery. Other than standard wear and tear over the last one and a half years it is fine and works really nicely.

James, I feel your pain. I love my P1620. But it too is neglected. I instead step out with my Dell XT, with its capacitive, multi touch loveliness. My HP 2710p is my workhouse at the college. My HTC Advantage is my MID. So, my P1620 just sits in its dock forlornly.

Weylund, I often regret selling gadgets and in fact the P1620 purchase was the result of regretting selling my 1610. Right now there are 5 laptops in my office and it makes no sense to keep this at this time.

The only problem I have with my P1510 is that I don’t want to lose it — it’s not disposable. Too nice. They’re great machines, I wish it had been cheap enough that I’d feel okay with it getting stolen… I’d take it everywhere.

You honestly sell off any machines you don’t have time for? What if, a year down the line, you realize that the 1620 would be the perfect machine for your needs? I hang onto my gadgets for dear life… which may be why I have boxes full of subnotebooks. Still, though.
