I also have a Wind U100. I was wondering if you can recommend a nice [pref. free] app which I can install so I can take photos and videos with the Wind’s webcam?

I have the 3 cell battery and can only last upto 2 ~ 2.5 hrs on a charge… not a problem when I’m at home or the office but can be a pain when I’m out.

Are you sure the 6-cell Wind with power adapter is 2.6 lbs.? I thought I’d read that just the Wind with the battery — minus the adapter –was close to 2.9 (contrary to MSI’s claims). Regardless, it’s still good, but when you’re traveling light every ounce counts.

I’ve just made my first week long trip without the Samsung Q1 in years. This time I decided that I would give the Acer Aspire One a chance to lighten the load.

It’s working great so far. Sitting in an icecream shop in Boston enjoying some icecream, some free wifi, and some work!
