I have to agree about the tablets and poor marketing. I have a HP 2710 for personal use. When ever I take it out in public and use it in slate mode I get a lot of looks and questions.

Not surprised about the iPhone presence along with the Windows Mobile and Blackberry phones. Heavily marketed and the latest updates have made it relatively business-friendly.

I wish I could say I was surprised about the tablet and netbook usage, but I’m not. You hit the nail on the head– poor marketing shots anything in the foot before it even gets out the door.

Actually, there were very few bloggers there from what I saw. Most of the folks were in the industry. It was interesting to see what gear they all had.

something tells me the mac’s and iphone’s where mostly part of the blogger gear pack…
