Yep, because restoring your phone(or forcing it into recovery mode)is so hard.

It would be a whole lot cooler if the iPhone was truly a wifi router and NOT a wifi client to a laptop. Not only that, but its only a socks proxy, so it will not work with apps that do not support socks proxy’s.

I wish someone could figure out how to turn the iPhone in a true wireless router. Meaning broadcast its own ssid, and let laptops connect to it, instead of the other way around. Then transmit any data via the 3g connection, instead of just proxy data.

How easy is it to jail break an iphone.

And would it be cheaper and easier to do the same with an Android phone?
