1Password out for iPhone- free for limited time

I am a big fan of the 1Password utility for the Mac.  It stores all of my passwords in encrypted form so I only have to enter them once.  I just got word from Agile Web Solutions that the iPhone version is now available in the App Store and it will be free for a limited time only.  The iPhone/ iPod Touch version will sync the passwords with the Mac if you use that version so it looks pretty sweet.  I’m off to download it now.

  • I’ve had it for a few days and thought it was cool how it synchronized passwords from my Mac to the iPhone via WiFi. No cable tether needed!

  • I’ve had it for at least a month and it was free. I use Keepass on Win/WinMO and KeepassX on Macs and there’s a promised iPhone version from a developer, which is what I ultimately want. In the mean time I’ve been using 1Password which works and looks great on the iPhone. You can use 1Password to import the database from KeepassX.

  • James – What do you use to manage passwords on your PCs?

  • James-
It has been out since mid August. Works fantastically.

  • Ross, I use Roboform and love it even better than 1password.

I hate it when companies send me an email with “new” information about their “just released” update like this.
