The AP’s Mobile News Network has already become one of the top apps for the iPhone and the AP is hoping to duplicate that success with the introduction of the network for the Blackberry.  The application is free and can be downloaded here for all Blackberry models.  The Mobile News Network can also be accessed here from any mobile device.

  • Is anyone actually able to get this running on their BlackBerry? All I get is a page full of errors in any browser on the BB.

  • I’m going to try it when I get home. It’s supposed to be an application so I would expect OTA installation.

  • AP introduces the mobile app just as newspapers are starting to bail on them.

I have access to many news services on my phone. The technology is cool. The content has gone beyond self-parody.

  • I installed it on my SPRINT 8330 Curve without a hitch. The application is VERY nice. I am impressed. Granted I already have some news readers, for actual NEWS -NEWS if that makes sense, but I would say this was well thought out. I think they have something. BTW, when you are configuring the local tab, be patient, you think nothing took and then it shows up.

Good Job AP and nice find to JKOTR
