MacBook with Vista installed for sale

At first blush this ad sent in by reader Camus appears to be one of those ads with an error that someone didn’t catch but that seems to be not the case.  This reseller in Spain (I believe that’s where they are) is offering a white MacBook with Windows Vista preinstalled, I suppose using Boot Camp.  The sale price includes the licensed copy of Vista so everything is nice and legal.  One thing is certain it’s awfully bizarre seeing an ad with a Vista-toting MacBook.  :)

  • Obviously, is the booklet of electronic distribution channel from Spain. It is a misprint, so the channel may be getting fully into a big mess. The information was originally posted http://www.movimaniac.com

  • Hi! hey Camus, I have received this paper-ad at my home too (in Seville).

And I would like to say this is not the only time Mediamarked has made this mistake. Some months ago they send me another paper-ad with iPhone using… new windows mobile 6!!! (sic!) :D

  • Hi Taliesin!

This paper-ad was distributed in Asturias. iPhone using WinMo? Oh my god. That’s really a big big mess.

  • This is absolutely wrong :-) I just called a friend who rushed to MediaMarkt to get a couple of them, but they confirmed that the ad was wrong. Otherwise, I think Apple has a strong case here against MediaMarkt.
