even with the fastest chip configurable, at a higher TDP than stock, i’m amazed at the ability of the X200 tablet to remain completely silent under load, and cool to the touch.

Thanks for the article, Kevin. The X301 looks like a nice machine. As an aside, does the 1-year-per-$1000 guideline mean that you would only expect a netbook to last six months?

So is this your favorite light laptop (non-net book)? Do you prefer the 301 over the U110?

This is the type of article i dislike most. It would be useful to lay out what you don’t like or just say there is nothing to dislike. But this too cute by half stuff is sophomoric and best left headline writers of teen magazines.
