Lenovo S10 6-cell battery hits German shore
Lenovo has not been very forthcoming about the availability, no the very existence of a 6-cell battery for the S10 netbook we’ve covered here. The 3-cell battery that has been shipping with the S10 to date is short on battery life and our efforts to confirm the existence of the 6-cell battery fell short. German blog EEE PC News has confirmed the existence of the extended battery and have posted pictures and an account (in German) of a Lenovo S10 complete with 6-cell battery. It’s not that clunky so here’s hoping this battery will become an option in other countries soon.

Argh! I’ve been wanting the 6 cell for awhile now. I read this Lenovo S10 review” where the 3 cell battery only lasted 1 hour 45 minutes. It was under heavy load, but a 6 cell would definitely help out a lot.
