Say hello to my new granddaughter
This is a totally selfish post but I want to welcome to the world my new granddaughter, Serenity Lyn. Serenity came into the world on 12/04 and mother Morgan and baby are doing fine.

Let me be the first in the blog to congratulate you. My parents told me that grand kids are all the fun without the responsibility.
Once again congratulations!!

This is always the best kind of news!
Congratulations Grandpa and my best to Mum Dad and Serenity.
How long till she get her first tablet?

Somebody needs to strap an iPhone on that kid. It’s never too earlier to get started. No joke, this shopping season I have seen high-heels for sale to infants as well as thongs for 10-year-olds ! Might wanna check if she had an RFID chip implanted during birth for government tracking purposes.
Congratulations, James – she’s beautiful!
Congratulations James.
Congratulations parents… and you too grandparents. Grandchildren are neat.
Congrats grandpa.
She is beautiful.
What a wonderful early Christmas present for your family. Congratulations! I assure you, being a grandparent is the reward for parenting.
Congratulations James and Family. You be as selfish as you want. You have earned it,

Aww, she is beautiful!! Congratulations!
Awesome! Congrats gramps!
Congratulations fellow old person. I’ve always thought the grandparent role was ideal – all the rewards as your grandchild grows and none of the diapers.
And just in time for the One Laptop Per Child Give One, Get One at Amazon!
Congratulation !! That’s cool, a new geek girl is born
Wonderful news James. Congratulations to you and you family. Thanks for sharing such a blessing.
Congratulations. As a new father to a 6 month old daughter I know exactly how you feel.
Congrats dude! Did you already register serenity.lyn@gmail.com for her?
Congrats to the parents and grandparents!
Congratulations, James! As a grandfather of 2 (soon to be 3)little girls, I am glad to see that the minority of grandparents has increased in the gadget bolgs.
Congrats. My daughter will also have a baby girl due by January 10th. My first one. Getting old man!

Very nice, James and big congratulations to you and your family. I wonder what phone Matt will get her (and himself) for her christening?!
Well done James – what a cutey!!
Sorry to be so tardy in offering my congratulations, James. I’ve been busy, so am just now seeing this. But great news!
Congratulations, James! Blessing on your growing family.
Is there any greater joy in life? (Even beats the thrill of a shiny new gadget, yes? Which for our tribe is saying a lot!).
Looking forward to Kevin adding one of these joyous photos some day soon, now that he’s happily married!
Coincidentally, my wife and I brought our newborn son home from the hospital Thanksgiving Day. Because my wife only wanted to eat so many ice chips, during her (alas, protracted) labor I used Twitter and the web to “live blog” the birth for our widely-scattered families, creating a virtual waiting room stretching from Spokane, Wash. to Birmingham, Alabama to a rural village in China. Recorded the first cry on my iPhone, too. People heard it minutes later, causing a few tears of joy to be sprinkled at various spots around the world. I’ve been updating the site since at

Also, made me appreciate mobile tech in a whole new, personal way (and prompted me to add the Internet to the list of miracles for which I’m so thankful).
Peace,
