Daily Windows Vista Tips this Month at TechNet

Yesterday I pointed out the list of over 200 tech tips shared by our readers. That number is now approaching 300 tips as folks continue to enter the HP Magic Giveaway contest. I’ve noticed that there’s such a vast range of tips and technologies mentioned, which is great! If you’re looking for some tips specific to Vista though, you might want to bookmark this Microsoft TechNet page devoted to Vista tips.

The current listing is only about a dozen-strong at the moment, but Brandon LeBlanc says that a new tip will be added each weekday through the end of the month. While many of the Vista tips are geared towards an I.T. shop, there’s a consumer tip here and there of value. I especially like the simple walkthough on creating an ad-hoc network: it’s come in handy for a quick file transfer between two PCs and lets you share the Internet connection of one without any additional, expensive hardware. Useful in a pinch!
