Gdium’s Got a Netbook Too

Gdium Netbook
It seems like everyone’s got a netbook to show off, although we haven’t found Gdium’s yet since the show floor isn’t open until tomorrow. That’s not stopping EMTEC from pinging us with the deets though:

- Mandriva G-Linux
- CPU 900 Mhz 64bits Loongson™ 2F by STMicroelectronics

- WIFI 802.11 b/g

I like the G-key concept: use the device and pull the key to take all of your personal data with you. Around $400.

Loongson is a Chinese developed processor being distributed by STElectronics. It uses a MIPS chipset….so your not going to run XP on this….
Correct. See bullet two above.
$400 & you cant run a real OS?
goodluck selling those, should be $99
