Is there an easy way to install it on my HP 2730p, along with my existing Vista?

Is it too risky for someone who has to ask the question to even try?

If your computer has a small screen beware of giving up XP or Vista since they have mail programs that work well on small screens. As detailed at http://www.segal.org/tablet/live/, the Windows Live mail program doesn't work well on small screens. The folks at Microsoft now know about this issue, and hopefully there will be a solution by the time the final version of Windows 7 comes out, but for now this remains a problem for computers with small screens.

Beta software is ALWAYS a "risky" (translation: stupid) idea on production systems.

But yes, it expires sometime in July 2009. Which means there will either be a Beta 2 or Release Candidate 1 with a slightly longer expiration, OR we'll really see the final version by summer.

Does the beta software expire at some point? Hmm. Could be risky to use on a production machine.
