Pocketables plays with the Sony Vaio P

The press was all over the Sony Vaio P with its insanely high resolution small screen.  We were not the only ones covering it at the CES as Jenn Lee of Pocketables got a hands-on session with the P.  She has a lot of photos and impressions written about the P.  It must be nice, she says she’s going to buy one.

  • I value Jenn’s opinion on mobile electronics more than just about anyone on the net. Her blog is a special one.

However, I think they had her on this one sight unseen. The girl loves her some Sony.

  • @Nate- too funny.

I will be getting one too, just trying to finance it without pissing off hubby.
I just got that Aspire One, but I can somehow justify a new toy, right?

  • Ya. I just recently got my Mini 9, and I really can’t justify purchasing this one.

It’s a pretty little gadget, but it would never be my primary machine. I don’t think I could stomach paying that much for something that would see only limited use.

I can handle wasting a few hundred bucks. A thousand requires a little more thought.

  • I also am looking to buy the Sony P. Another female who likes the look of this one. Love the instant mode, and Xbrite screen. I am in the process of selling some items to fund it :) Plan to use it mainly for internet, videos/movies, podcasts, and GPS. Will be used alot at home, instead of our huge 17″ laptop and also on the road. I plan to carry it with me always.

  • As soon as the vaio p was unveiled I looked around my room to see what I could pawn off in order to buy this device. Too bad the eee pc 701 is so cheap the right mouse button broke, so I can’t really sell it.
