Can some tell me if the blue tooth works with blue tooth headphones like Jabra ( I think that would be bluetooth 2.0 with Advanced Audio (A2DP), Remote Control (AVRCP) ). The A2DP I think is for the Mic, and the ABRCP has a fast forward, rewind.. Thanks

You can install the HP MI interface on any laptop/desktop running ubuntu by adding the hp repositories to your package manager.

see here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1021351

bluemonq, Banshee is most likely there by default, which has support for all ipods, mtp devices, etc.

Of course, you could also install Amarok (my personal preference) for a more iTunes all-in-one type solution.

Yes, I'd be keen to see some too. If they're going to make it available to download more widely it might be a good choice for a secondary OS to use when I can't wait for Windows to boot.

bluemonq, I'll be doing a video of the Mini MI soon that will show the s/w repository. It's pretty slick. The 1000 does already have a lot of stuff preloaded such as OpenOffice.

Does it look like they'll offer a 6-cell battery? 3 cells seems awfully meager...

What sort of mechanism does it have for additional apps? Is there some sort of special HP repository or is "everything" that the typical user would want already installed?

And of course... "Can you sync your iPod with it?"
