Windows Mobile Gains Google Mobile Software
I thought the Google Mobile application was already supported on Windows Mobile, but I stand corrected. It is now supported, however. Google released the software yesterday, and you can download the .CAB file at http:/m.google.com/search on your WinMo handheld. The software will take up some of your Today screen, so if you’re a miser on screen real estate, this might not be for you.
For those willing to sacrifice a few pixels, you’ll have quick access to Google searches, for starters. Results from your search will appear in your default browser. Also included in the app are shortcuts to Gmail, Google Calendar and Maps. I suspect many Windows Mobile users stick with the native mail and calendar apps as opposed to Google apps the web, so maybe this isn’t a huge seller. Google says you can assign a hardware button to the application and also add support for Google Apps for Domains if you use that service. The commentary on Google’s announcement seems less than stellar, so caveat emptor. Actually, you can’t buy a free app, so “let the buyer beware” should really just read “beware”.

thanks
very good
would be cool if it was a stand alone (not on my home screen) program. My home screen is so small as it is. Search history is a cool option.
ok another comment on it. That is one bright shade of white for the search bar. Maybe an option to pick your color, or transpacific of the search bar. I had to remove it as the beaming white search bar color was driving me mad.
