Mobile Tech Minutes – A Brief History Lesson

No breaking news here, but we occasionally get questions on how James and I came to meet. Ironically, we didn’t physically meet for at least two years after we started working together. If reruns on your TiVo have you down today, stop in for a ten-minute chat on our history. It’s not glitzy or glamorous, but now we have a video conversation to point folks to going forward when asked about our history. ;)

  • Kevin,
What is the title of your Pat Tillman book?

    • The one I pulled from my shelf is simply called “Pat Tillman” by Rich Wolfe. I also own “I’ve Got Things to do With my Life. Pat Tilman: The Making of an American Hero” by Mike Towle. Both are touching reads.

  • Since shooting this video today I’ve thought of some interesting trivia about Kevin and I:

    1. Of the few times we’ve been in the same room at the same time, one was for a wedding (Kevin’s) and one was for a funeral (Marc Orchant’s).

    2. I have been to Kevin’s house but he’s never been to mine.

    3. Kevin was the first to get a Mac.

    4. Kevin was the first to get an iPhone.

    5. Kevin was the last to get a Tablet PC.

    6. Kevin in the NE US loves country music while I, in Texas hate it.

  • Hey guys, why don’t you do more Skype Video calls? It’s always great watching you chat even if it’s just for a few minutes.

Maybe you can try and beat the credit crunch and start doing at least one a week? Like a Tech Roundup of what’s been happening online?

  • After having you as my homepage on one of my machines\locations, I usually manage to read the post and know who of you two posted it.
I usually agree with Kevin more … but I like you both just the same. Keep up the good work. If anything you got me thinking about blogging :)

  • Thanks for posting this! Great to hear your story.
I actually tend to agree more with James, which confirms his theory, I suppose :-D

    Keep up the great work!
