Palm Pre Exclusive Webcast Next Week

palm-preI’m hoping we have some more Palm Pre news this time next week. Late yesterday, we got an invite to an exclusive webcast, courtesy of Palm and Sprint. Here’s the limited info I have at the moment. Palm and Sprint will walk though their partnership and demo the device on Sprint’s 3G network.

“Additionally, they will highlight three key differentiators, available exclusively from Sprint, that make Pre standout in the smartphone device category, and help bring your life, personal and professional, together, effortlessly.”

I’m registered and confirmed, so check back Thursday afternoon, next week. Originally, I suspected that Synergy is one of the “key differentiators,” as is the combined messaging approach between IM, TXT/SMS and e-mail. Then I noticed that these differentiators are “available exclusively from Sprint,” so they must be something different. Stay tuned!

  • Definitely interested in learning more! But given all the Twitter chatter, I’m not so sure how “exclusive” this is. ;) I hope this means release isn’t too far off… my iPhone is useless at work – no AT&T inside this building, but Sprint is STRONG.

  • Let us know if the Pre will do MMS? I know I use to have Sprint and most of the PDA phones never supported MMS. They just released MMS on the Blackberry Curve with the latest OS upgrade. Kevin can we lean you towards a Strom? :)
