The Palm Pre is getting closer and closer, and geeks the world over are holding their breath for it to appear. If you don’t believe the Pre is big news then you didn’t see the Jimmy Fallon show last night as our friend from Engadget, Josh Topolsky, appeared on the show with a Palm Pre.

The video is over on Engadget, and it’s another chance to see the Palm Pre in all its coolness.  Props to Josh for not only getting on the Jimmy Fallon show but getting Palm to let him bring a Pre to show off.  If I’m not mistaken, it’s the first time a Pre has been more than 3 feet from a Palm employee’s hand.  Check out the video, and see how cool the Pre is and how even big-time TV stars are dying to get one.  Congrats to Josh again for this coup.  I hate you.

  • Oh WHY did I have to see that! I was content just to get a Touch Pro to play with for 5-6 months and then figure out what was going to be “next” at Sprint. Everytime I see something new like this about the Pre, I am ready to wait (I know it was on wifi and he said more than once that is was not a finished product). Actually have a TP on its way to me. Think I won’t even open it – back to eBay or Craigslist. Why even bother with a WM device…..

    • If you have the right device, Windows Mobile is pretty great. Finding the right device can be tough, but I’m a pretty happy camper with WinMo these days.

That being said, I want a Pre pretty bad. It does look pretty sweet, and as always, Topolsky is freakin’ hilarious.

  • Sorry, but ‘meh’. Not inclined to be interested.

  • I’m not familiar with the Jimmy Fallon show because it doesn’t air on this side of the pond. As such, the whole segment in that clip looks like nothing more than an infomercial. I was almost waiting for the steak knives to be mentioned. Seriously, can anyone explain how an actual infomercial would have been any different? Interesting device for sure but pathetic television!

Fallon is a Pam investor and the show is taped.

    Drooling over a controlled infomercial?
