		<description>Just found this website.  I, too, wish you were able to find a one-bar, poor signal area.  I live in a very rural location and have tried other amplifier products, which also included an external antenna for the car.  They just didn&#039;t work well since the originating signal was so terrible.

However, the pickup in the driveway has ON-STAR, and it has a solid signal.  I was hoping any cell phone I tried with the amp/external antenna, no matter what service, would work, but no go. I&#039;ve tried Cellular One, AT&amp;T, and Verizon branded phones.</description>

		<description>Definitely not a product for everyone, but with a 12V adapter in your home, you should be able to use it. An AT&amp;T femtocell unit would likely be better in that scenario though. BTW: you&#039;re not putting this against your ears... that&#039;s what Bluetooth headsets are for. ;)</description>
