Yup, which is a deal breaker for me, I was really interested until I founf out that they making the mini 10 the same way as the mini 12. I would rather have 2 gb when windows 7 comes out. Now I guess its a waiting game for the apple netbook, usb 3.0, ddr3 ram in a netbook, and windows 7.

Agreed, this is a game changer. I can’t believe some vendors are selling ones with a 576 pixel vertical resolution. That’s just not enough. Nice to see Dell moving the ball along with a higher res screen. If they would just start selling 6 cell batteries too, I’d be sold.

Still no 6 cell battery. Interested to see if HP hits soon with the higher res screen at a reasonable price and with the bigger battery.

HP just announced that the 2140 will also have the Hi-res screen starting April 1st.

So hopefully this will be a new trend for all netbook makers.
