looks slick!

wondering if you could D/L a very small tool called BattStat & tell us what they average power drain is for this HP. i dont expect it be anywhere close to an Atom netbook but im still curious.

btw, for most 10"/Atom/2.5" HDD devices its around 10w - 13w.

I was not aware that it came with an external BD-ROM drive as standard. The specs on HP's site mention only a DVD burner.

But for $749 it does make a compelling alternative to a $500 2140 mininote or even a basic notebook like the $629 dv4t, especially if that BD drive is included.

Oh, regarding speakers, the Altec Lansing HP uses are absolutely terrible. Unless you have a 2.1 model like the dv7/HDX with the subwoofer, you're not going to get good sound at all from your music. Notebooks with Harman Kardon units like the old zd7000 and the Toshiba X305 are far superior to the Altec Lansing. Then again, if you are like me and have a set of XB700 cans, crappy notebook speakers will be the last of your concerns.

Hi Lorie, we do use Skype for our MTM videos. The size of the secondary video can't be modified; only the position of it.

Hello Kevin,

The same machine in a Tablet PC version for the same price could be a killer machine.

A question about the video capture of webcam. Is that made with Skype ?

And is that possible to invert the size of people in windows ?

Thanks a lot Kevin.
