System76 Fires Off Starling Netbook With Ubuntu for $359

I have to agree with Kevin that Ubuntu is looking pretty darn good for netbooks, and System76 does, too. The Linux computer maker has released the Starling Netbook running Ubuntu 9.04, which looks pretty nice. The Starling has pretty decent (if standard) components: Atom N270, 1 GB memory, 160 GB HDD, WiFi, webcam, card reader and a 6-cell battery for just $359. That’s a good price for a good-looking netbook all right.
