I've got one as well. In business it's been great for doing online training that I'm required as part of my job...i'm logging my notes & the audio from the training, and can quickly go back and refresh myself as I'm doing the tests...it's great

I've had a Livescribe Pulse for about three months and love it. However, I have used it more for my own writing—taking notes while researching, writing when no netbook or laptop is with me, and writing when I needed audio, as well.

The notion of pencasting interests me because I teach a lot of Distance Education courses. This would be a great way to podcast, but also give the students a PDF of the notes I wish them to study.

Great info.
