Gaming Notebook Includes Accidental Damage Protection

Here is something you don’t see every day. A new gaming notebook from iBUYPOWER includes accidental damage protection from spills and drops in the purchase price. The Battalion 101 CZ-10 notebook is no slouch in the performance category, with components and graphics capability to satisfy most gamers out of the box. That box starts at $1,235, which is not that bad for a gaming notebook. It’s got that damage protection, too, because you know how you gamers are with equipment — throwing it around and all.

You can bump the 2 GB of memory and 2.66 GHz processor to 4 GB and 2.93 GHz for some extra cash if you wish. The notebook should start shipping in early June.

  • I only see a 4GB memory option, no 2GB choice. I also have to laugh at the fact that it costs extra to have XP instead of Vista lol.

  • Toshiba and HP also offer this as an extra for their notebooks. I don’t see why including this in the price makes it such a big deal. There are better gaming notebooks out there than this one.

  • Dell’s offered this for years on their notebooks too, had it on every Dell notebook I’ve owned, and they’ve always come through when I had an issue.
