  • Hmmm…. must have been a temporary glitch. I just hit it and worked for me.

  • Yes, thats’s true. All working fine now!

  • I haven’t tethered my Dash in quite a while, but I thought it charged while being tethered.

    • If you’re tethering via USB, you’re correct. But if you’re running the host notebook on battery power, you’ll start running through the notebook battery faster while your phone battery charges. I *think* that’s the issue that was being raised by that statement. If your notebook is plugged in, then you’re good in terms of power.

    • Ok, yeah thats true. I thought the group was talking about the phone.

  • Kevin – was listening to your comments about the browser and I agree mostly. But the one about clicking on a comment over there >
then not going directly to that comment but to the general comments section. My IE8 acts like my Pre’s browser – I just get the full page. What browser are you on?

    HSK — 4:14 PM on June 12, 2009 Reply

    • On any of my desktop browsers (Safari, FF, sorry not using IE8 yet), clicking on a commenters name in our sidebar takes you DIRECTLY to that person’s comment. On the Pre, it’s just opening up the post page where the comment is… have to scroll down past the post and find the comment. That’s not working in IE8, you say? Yeesh… that’s gotta get fixed if that’s the case.

    • Yep, on my IE8, I just get sent to the top of this page. I clicked the link to your comment on the Home page. Odd indeed….

    • It works for me using IE8 in Windows 7 on my Wind. Click on the persons name, not the post, and give it a sec or two.

  • Kevin – also – agree on the updates!! I had rather have one a week with some little nice to have just to show they are working rather than wait 6-8-12 months for a big one.
