iPhone 3.0 Gets Navigation From AT&T

The iPhone 3.0 update brought turn-by-turn navigation ability to the phone, so it was only a matter of time before AT&T brought out an app for that. AT&T Navigator is free but will cost you a subscription fee of $9.95 per month, which puts it on par with other carrier offerings. The program is produced by TeleNav so that may be why it looks familiar if you’ve seen that program on other phones. The monthly subscription is billed to your phone by AT&T so if you want to try it, give it a go. Then turn left at the next corner.

  • Similar to what’s included in my Pre’s $70 Sprint plan?

    • @EtS…not similar…it’s exactly the same, but of course, you don’t pay extra for that. It’s included.
BTW…if you go to sprint.telenav.com you can push nav location to your device from a PC.

  • *sigh* AT&T is just dam greedy. The backlash when people can easily move their iphone to different networks is going to fun to watch.
