An alternative that I am using successfully is “Lockitnow!”

Quite a few options and works well for me.

Kevin what external monitor do you have hooked up to your macbook? I can’t find the post where you discussed your home set-up.

@kevin-which phone are you using? if you showed it on the video, i can’t view it at work. i have tried different bluetooth proximity software (http://tinyurl.com/kjcwf4 & http://tinyurl.com/26zxdf) with my iphone. they detect my iphone as long as it doesn’t go to sleep. once it does, my pc locks. with freeze, will it detect your iphone (assuming that’s what you’re using) if your phone goes to sleep?

I used to use an app like this when I used Ubuntu as my primary device. It was free though.

Off topic, There is a mouse over add on this page that expands over the video. Its very annoying. Thought I would let you know. Its from singlelink.
