Use Mobile Devices Hands-Free Anywhere With Gorillamobile
Sometimes the best accessories are the simplest. Mobile tech sees us (rightly) obsessing about batteries, radios and the like, but often the lowest-tech things can offer the greatest benefits. Take the Gorillamobile, for instance. This simple accessory attaches to virtually any mobile device, and supports it for mobile use. The innovative tripod legs consist of dozens of ball joints that handle bending in any configuration.
The Gorillamobile can function as a tripod with the legs straightened, or the legs can be wrapped around other objects for use in unusual circumstances. In the photo at right, the legs are wrapped around the handlebars of a bicycle for use while riding.
The Gorillamobile attaches to virtually any device using several different methods. It can use a standard camera screw mount, a suction cup mount or adhesive mounts (both permanent and temporary). It costs $29.99.

Looks like a rename of the GorillaPod Go-Go.
Additional connectors to work with non-cameras.
Had those before.
I was just researching bicycle mounts for my G1 and this would be perfect. Do you think it would stand up to a bump or two, or would I be constantly righting it when it swings backward on my handlebars? There’s probably some “not recommended” situations listed on the website.
Oh and what about the fact that the back face of the G1 is not glossy – it’s matte finish. I can’t see the suction cup sticking to that too well.
As it turns out, that flexible camera mount is listed on the front page of slickdeals.net for $5!
Steve
I have one of these. So, how does it attach to the iPhone?
Thanks
They said via suction or adhesive…I wouldn’t want to attach mine via this method either way if on a bike….suction, I can just see the first sidewalk I came off of…my 3GS skidding across the asphalt (perish the thought!)
