Breaking with Win7

It is Friday afternoon, 70 degrees and brilliant sunshine; the perfect excuse to put the top down and head out to work. That I am doing using Windows 7 with great relish. Life is good.

  • I was wondering if you could share how you like that Microsoft mouse? Is it convenient in hand?

    • I’ve got the same mouse and find it really comfortable to use. It’s quite clever because it’s light and folds away into a small bundle but it feels really sturdy when in use and the rubberised surface feels nice.

My only complaint is that the wheel feels a little bit cheap but the rest of the mouse is quality.

  • Did you do a clean install or just an upgrade to windows7?

  • That is one ugly computer xD IMO all thinkpads look like theyre from the late 90’s. Normally I dont care about design, but even that philosophy has some limits.

    • I like the plain black matte design. It is simplistic and puts the focus on how the computer runs not how flashy it is on the outside. But of course it is all a matter of personal preference.

    • I kind of agree with you Andreas. I always felt this way about thinkpads, even in the late ’90s but I do have to say I used my friend’s lenovo tablet and it was incredibly solid. Plus they are shooting for a 10 sec boot with win 7 (making adjustments to boot order, getting rid of crapware) so now I’m more open to them despite the overly utilitarian look.
